Due to the face that we are international is it impossible to get all performers on the same time zone.
Does the piece have to be Circus Themed?
It does not have to be CIRCUS themed, it can be any theme you'd like. The idea of this competition and showcase is for each performance number to be THEMED we encourage FULL makeup costumes, background decor and props.
DO I NEED PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE?
You don't need any precious experience. The Pole Circus is a place for all to explore their artistic vision of pole or aerial arts. Lyra, hoop, silks, pole, flying pole. All welcome, themes, doubles. This competition is about going above and beyond to tell a story.
What are the categories and levels?
We have a showcase division for people who do not wish to be judges and simply would like a platform to display their art. The showcase is separate from the competition.
Professional -if you own a studio, get paid to perform, if you teach, if your doing advance tricks or flips. We have edited 1.) (Montage) you can use filters, and edit as you see fit. 2.) Real is unedited and is recorded in one take no editing allowed of any kind.
Amateur is everyone who isn't a professional. From beginner to intermediate tricks. (Remember this competition is about performance and creativity) We have edited 1.) WHAT ARE THE DEADLINES?
Registration submissions due Oct 15 midnight EST.
The event is held Oct 22nd 3pm est and video
Pre-recorded Video submissions are DUE Oct 15th
Since this is an ADULT show only 18 and older can participate and we are selling tickets $10 audience must be 18 and older as well.
